Our Story
Carson Signature Films, Inc. is a feature film and television production company primarily engaged in the development, packaging and sales of feature films, television projects and documentaries to the motion picture and television industry. CSFI acquires and develops screenplays, television concepts, books, manuscripts and other intellectual properties.
Over the past twenty-five years, CSFI has taken pride in amassing and maintaining many valuable relationships with top players in the entertainment industry. CSFI works closely with A-list producers, production companies, directors, writers, showrunners and top literary agents in the business. Over the past decade, CSFI has sold or optioned projects to Universal Pictures, Paramount Pictures, Warner Brothers, Miramax, Sony, Fineline Features, Dick Clark Productions, HBO, ESPN, ABC, Discovery and many more.
Beaux Carson is the owner of Carson Signature Films, Inc. and currently serves as the company’s CEO. CSFI has extensive experience in script analysis, development, project selection, sales, packaging and financing. Mr. Carson and his qualified team of executives oversee every aspect of the creative development process and is hands on when it comes to working with writers’, authors, producers, directors and talent. With the overwhelming demand for content from buyers such as studios, networks and streamers, CSFI’s personal mission statement is to aggressively seek-out, develop and supply quality and commercially viable content to this ever-expanding industry.
Beaux Carson is an independent sales executive, packager and producer with over twenty-five years of experience in the major motion picture and television industry. Carson started his career as a below the line production services executive at Warner Brothers in the early 80’s, formerly known as “The Burbank Studios”.
In the early 90’s Carson was packaging and selling television concepts to buyers such as Universal television, Dick Clark Productions, Paramount, Discovery, MTV, NBC, VHI and many more. From 2000 to 2010, Carson operated his own independent film company Carson Signature Films, Inc. located in the Universal tower on the 20th floor at Universal.
Currently, in 2020 Carson Signature Films, Inc. packages film and television projects for all the major markets. Carson has a background in uncovering true stories, securing life rights, recognizing “hot properties” and packaging in strong elements such as (writers, producers, directors and talent) then placing them with the right buyers. Such buyers include, Universal Pictures, Warner Brothers, Paramount Pictures, Sony Pictures, HBO, Showtime, ESPN, and many more.
Carson teams up with A-list producers, directors, writers and actors on a regular basis. Carson has excellent contacts at the major talent agencies and has developed working relationships with the top players in the industry. In the past, Carson represented Academy Award winning writers such as Earl Wallace (Witness), Quinn Redeker (The Deer Hunter) and many more.
In 2010, Carson served as co-executive producer on the feature film The Tempest starring Helen Mirren and Russell Brand, the film was directed by Julie Taymor (Lion King, Across the Universe). Carson was also co-executive producer on a feature film for Paramount Pictures and Showtime Entertainment titled In the Company of Spies starring Tom Berenger (Platoon).
Carson teamed up with the late Dick Clark and executive produced a television pilot in 2012 which was packaged by William Morris. Carson and Dick Clark teamed up once again and produced the NXL World Cup Championship on ESPN. In 2018, Carson along with the Weinstein Company executive produced a pilot for television. Carson continues to set up motion pictures and television series with many A-list producers, production companies, studios and networks on a regular basis.
In 2020-21, Carson will serve as an executive producer on an upcoming feature film entitled ‘Dissonance’ based off the book ‘Dissonance’ by Erica O’Rourke, this project was announced in the Hollywood Reporter and Deadline. Catherine Hardwick (director of Twilight) is slated to direct the film.
Moving forward in 2020-21, Carson Signature Films has multiple projects in various stages of development with multiple A-list companies at major studios and networks.
